Recently, ICIEI was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Industrial Internet Research Institute which is held in Shenzhen Polytechnic, to witness the establishment of Shenzhen Polytechnic and EVOC Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Industrial Internet Research Institute.

The industrial Internet platform is the deep integration product of a new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry. Through the comprehensive connection of people, machines, materials, methods and environments, it realizes the convergence and optimal configuration of all industrial elements, which is an important foundation of the integration and development of informatization and industrialization. Promoting the construction and application of industrial Internet platforms is an important task from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to implement the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and it is also the key emphasis of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the in-depth integration of informatization and industrialization.

The president of Shenzhen Polytechnic said in his speech that the official opening of the Industrial Internet Research Institute will center on the cutting-edge technology field of industrial Internet, focus on technological innovation and talent training, focus on research and development  of technology application, professional co-construction and resource sharing, to carry out fruitful cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Shenzhen Polytechnic will form a replicable and popularized school-enterprise strategic cooperation model by summarizing and condensing the cooperation experience with EVOC Intelligence, setting a benchmark for cooperation between vocational colleges and first-class enterprises, and creating a school-enterprise resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win model, to achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing and common development.

The general manager of ICIEI said that the establishment of the Industrial Internet Research Institute has enabled more enterprises to see the continuous transformation and upgrading of vocational education in line with the latest and most cutting-edge industrial needs. As a strategic cooperation unit of Shenzhen Polytechnic, Guangdong Industrial Edge Intelligence Innovation Center is the first domestic innovation center oriented to the industrial Internet field and centered on industrial edge intelligent technology. The innovation center has always adhered to gathering industrial innovation resources and jointly building an industrial ecology, actively responding to the development planning tasks of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and empowering small, medium and micro enterprises and traditional industries to transform and upgrade through networking, digitization, and intelligence.
