Recently, at the ICIEI and the Industrial Edge Intelligence Industry Alliance, Professor Zhou Xingshe of Northwestern Polytechnical University conducted an online technical exchange with Sun Yu, general manager of the Center, and Pang Guangshi, expert of the expert committee, and the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the research status, research characteristics and application prospects in the fields of high-performance computing, edge intelligence and intelligent industrial control.

Profile of Professor Xing-She Zhou：
Professor Zhou Xingshe is a professor/doctoral supervisor in the School of Computer Science of Northwestern Polytechnical University and a member of CCF Advisory Committee; he was the dean of the School of Computer Science and the dean of the School of Software and Microelectronics for more than ten years; he is currently the director of Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Embedded System Technology; the director of Shaanxi Cloud Computing Technology Engineering Center; and the vice chairman of Shaanxi Big Data and Cloud Computing Science and Technology Innovation Alliance.
He is mainly engaged in the research of networked embedded computing and pervasive computing, distributed computing and cloud computing and their applications. He has long presided over the relevant national key funds, national major special projects, 863 programs and national defense pre-research projects, published more than 100 academic papers, won many provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, and is an expert in the evaluation of many national research programs.
